Community Restorative Centre

Judith Neilson foundation partner - Community Restorative Centre

The Miranda Project, an initiative of the Community Restorative Centre (CRC), supports women to break cycles of disadvantage and provide pathways out of the criminal justice system through holistic, trauma-informed support.

In collaboration with NSW Women’s Health Centres, the Miranda Project supports women (including cis-women, trans-women and people who identify as non-binary who feel comfortable in female-only spaces) impacted by domestic and family violence and the criminal justice system through intensive case management and a range of group activities in the community.

In partnership with the Judith Neilson Foundation, the Miranda Project has expanded its vital services to Southwest Sydney, focusing women at high risk of returning to unsafe situations or custody, aligning with our mission to support disadvantaged women and girls in crisis.

CRC is the leading provider of specialist through-care, post-release, and reintegration programs for people transitioning from prison into the community in NSW. All programs are designed to reduce crime and break entrenched cycles of disadvantage and imprisonment. Discover more about the Miranda Project and its transformative impact by visiting CRC’s website.
